Things on the radio sound like what I listened to as a kid in ‘93. There’s this permeating sense of optimism that’s refreshing but maybe a little thin and vaguely soul-less. Kinda like rock used to be before grunge came into vogue. Of course there is a bit of a grunge-revival.
I can’t wait for the return of the ‘Golden Age’ - it’s brewing now.
So, I guess I’m saying, things are glossy now but when do they get raw?
What does this mean for cultural trends in general?
